Piers Morgan, Lauren Goodger and Ruth Langsford first in queue as stars flock to salons
Piers Morgan, Lauren Goodger and Ruth Langsford were among the first in the queue for a tidy up as celebs flocked to hairdressers and beauty salons today.
Lockdown rules in England have eased from today, allowing non-essential shops, pubs and gyms to reopen after months of closures.
Hairdressers and salons also threw open their doors this morning, and there were some famous faces in line to get a long-awaited tidy up.
Former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, 55, couldn’t wait a day longer for his hair cut and headed to the posh Daniel Galvin salon in Kensington to get his mop chopped.
The telly star paid a heft £125 for a cut with one of the salon’s top stylists, and shared a picture online showing his trim new look.
Piers wrote: “Hair we go! God it’s good to be back under the knife… “
Another star who landed a first day appointment was Ruth Langsford, who headed to a salon to get her nails done.
The This Morning star, 61, shared a video of herself sitting at a nail station getting pampered, and wrote: “She’s back!”
Ruth later added a video of her shiny new manicure and wrote: ” Who knew we would be so ridiculously excited to get our nails done?!! Thank you@samsnails… great to have you back!”
Lauren wrote: “A lil brow tidy up and laminate…”
Lily Allen declared she was “first in” as she shared a video of herself in the salon getting her nails done, and she followed up her appointment by heading to a newly-reopened gym for a work out.
Christine McGuinness also headed to a gym today, sharing a picture of herself looking exhausted post-work out and writing: “I’m smiling inside, honesty.
“It felt so good, Gym… I’ve missed you!”
Stacey Solomon was among those in the queue to get back to Primark this morning, and she later shared pictures of her incredible haul with fans.
She revealed she’d gone out at 6am for an early morning dash to the shops, and was thrilled with all the bits she picked up.
The Loose Women star explained: “I went to my favourite place this morning. This is not an ad in any way but I have to say IWorkWithPrimark. Oh my goodness I’ve missed you friend.
“They had so many lovely summer bits and new fejkas.”
She went on: “Are any of you venturing into the shops today? It’s so strange and still feels a bit scary doesn’t it?
“But it was nice and quiet this morning so it felt safe but definitely take your time and don’t worry if you’re not feeling comfortable yet.”
