Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ditch Princess Diana’s photo from their website

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charity’s website has swapped out a photo of Princess Diana in an online makeover.

The Archewell Foundation traded the portrait of a young Harry with his late mother for a snap of the couple volunteering during the pandemic.

Meghan and Harry launched the non-profit last year after they announced their shock split from the royal family.

The latest change comes shortly after the Queen stripped the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of all of their royal patronages.

The loss of his treasured military patronages was said to have been a blow to Harry, who served with the British Army.

Now, their Archewell Foundation website has undergone a makeover.

The landing page of the site now features a picture of the pair wearing protective face masks as they volunteered during the coronavirus crisis in California.

The couple’s non-profit had been named after their first-born son, Archie.

They recently announced Meghan is pregnant again after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage.

The front page blurb on their foundation last year featured a touching tribute to Diana and to Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

The landing page featured a snap of Harry as a boy with Diana, taken at Highgrove in July 1986, and one of Meghan as a girl with her mum.

The non-profits newly-updated website reads: “Welcome to Archewell. Through our non-profit work, as well as creative activations, we drive systemic cultural change across all communities, one act of compassion at a time.”
